Local storage that is not a cookie

Two browser storage mechanisms are used, both strictly functional and both confined to your device:

• IndexedDB — your uploaded launch library and the last product you entered under Your launch history, so a returning visit does not start from scratch.
• localStorage — which mode (sector estimate, or your own launch history) you last used.

Neither is sent anywhere, neither identifies you, and both are cleared by Clear all data or by your browser's "clear site data" control. Because they are strictly necessary for a feature you asked for, they do not require consent under the ePrivacy rules — but you can decline them simply by not uploading a launch history.

Why there is no cookie banner

Because there is nothing to consent to. Consent banners exist for cookies that are not strictly necessary — advertising, analytics, third-party embeds. This site has none of those: no ads, no analytics, no external scripts. The two storage mechanisms above are strictly necessary for features you asked for, and they never leave your device, so European rules do not require a banner and we do not show one.

The single exception is a form you choose to submit — the team-tier waitlist on /for-teams. Submitting it sends the email address you type there, and nothing else; that page says so on the page itself. Not submitting it sends nothing.
