FirstBuy for teams
A paid tier for purchasing teams — shared launch library, backtesting on your own history, branded exports. It does not exist yet. This page is here to find out whether it should.
We would rather ask than build the wrong thing. Below is what the tier would be and roughly what it would cost. If enough purchasing teams say it is worth paying for, it gets built; if not, it does not, and the free tool carries on exactly as it is.
What it would include
- A shared launch library
One library per team rather than one per laptop. Everyone sizes first buys against the same corrected history, and a new buyer inherits years of it on day one instead of starting from their own memory.
- Backtesting on your own launches
Leave-one-out over your library: what this tool would have recommended for each past launch, against what actually happened. The only honest way to find out whether the method beats your current one — on your products, not on a vendor's demo data.
- Branded exports
The recommendation, the comparables and the assumptions as a PDF with your company's name on it — the thing you attach to a purchase order or hand to a supplier, rather than a screenshot.
- Several people, one method
Shared assumptions for salvage value, review time and carton sizes, so two buyers sizing similar items reach comparable answers and a line review does not turn into an argument about inputs.
What it would cost
Indicatively €99 per month for a team, not per seat. That number is a starting point for the conversation, not a price list — if it is far off what this would be worth to you, that is exactly the kind of thing worth telling us.
What stays free
Everything you can use today: the sector estimate, uploading your own launch history, the comparables, the order simulator, the calculators and the guides. Nothing is being moved behind a paywall to make room for a paid tier, and there are no ads. See about for why that is affordable.
