Privacy
The short version: your data does not leave your device, because there is nowhere for it to go.
What we collect
Nothing. FirstBuy AI has no backend, no user accounts and no database. There is no server that receives your inputs, your uploaded launch history or your results. This is not a policy commitment that could quietly change — it is how the application is built, and you can verify it: open your browser's network tab while you use the tool, and you will see it fetch the page and then talk to nobody.
What stays on your device
When you upload a launch history, it and the last product you entered are stored in IndexedDB, a storage area belonging to this site inside your own browser. Which mode you last used is kept in localStorage. Both are readable only by this site on this device, are never transmitted, and are removed entirely by the Clear all data button under Your launch history, or by clearing site data in your browser.
Files you upload
A CSV or Excel file you select is read by the browser itself and parsed in the page. It is not uploaded. If you close the tab without saving, nothing of it remains anywhere.
Analytics and tracking
There is currently no analytics, no tracking pixel and no error reporting. If we ever add visitor counting, it will be a cookieless service that cannot identify you, and this page will say so before it goes live.
No ads, and no data business
This site shows no ads. It loads no advertising scripts, no tracking pixels and no third-party tags of any kind — which is also why it needs no cookie banner (see the cookie policy).
Your data is not pooled with anyone else's and is not sold. That is not a promise about our intentions — it is a property of the design: your launch history never reaches us, so there is nothing on our side to pool or sell. Running costs are a domain name. A paid tier for teams is being evaluated separately (see what that would be); it does not change how this tool handles your data, and the tool itself stays free.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have rights of access, correction and erasure over personal data a service holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing to request — and erasure is the Clear all data button, which works instantly and without asking us.
